Poynton Juniors was created in 1985 and was a founding member of the Stockport Metro League. Winning a trophy in its inaugral season, the club has developed a reputation of producing successful teams ever since.

However it is not all about winning, success has been achieved by giving children the opportunity to play and learn the game they love.

The club currently runs a large selection of teams from under 6's through to under 21's, whilst maintaining strong links & a clear pathway to the senior side and Poynton Sports Club.

As well as offering the opportunity of playing football, we also teach players respect and the importance of being a good sportsman.

One of the leading junior & fastest growing clubs in the area, we were one of the first to be awarded Charter Standard Community Status which we retain to this day, and are proud to be a previous club of the year winner.

Looking to the future the club continues to improve and is currently re-developing a soccer school, as well as our youth section with a clear pathway for 16-21 year olds.
